What does this mean exactly like does it just mean before I connect it and turn it on ever or does it mean before having it turned on so that the PC knows it's on? When I first turned it on earlier(again, first time since reinstalling os) the pc had some pop up that said "We are setting up komplete kontrol etc. It says to download the driver BEFORE connecting the komplete kontrol. The komplete kontrol was showing up in midi preferences which I already had pulled up when I went to that video, but he says to download that driver. It didn't just start working automatically when I pulled up fl studio but I remember it did that last time so I watched this video How To Get the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol To Work In FL Studio - YouTube and he says to install the driver. I don't remember doing this last time but apparently I'm supposed to? I recently reinstalled my OS and had to reinstall all my software, haven't connected my komplete kontrol s88 yet but I did just now.
